Storage and repair services

Boxall & Edmiston offer a storage and comprehensive repair service. Our team of craftsmen have a wealth of knowledge from years in the gun trade. If you are unsure of the source of your problem, then we will be able to provide on-site diagnosis before starting the repair.

The storage facility is now available as our existing site was re-developed, with a second floor installed as part of a major re-development and additional gun storage facilities produced. Our site is on a former RAF base with on-site security at all times, the factory is also subject to the stringent testing required to produce shotguns and as such is more than likely the most secure facility for storing shotguns in Shropshire today.

Storage prices start from £10 per month and guns can be serviced and/or repaired during their stay.

The repair service has been a popular choice for locals and existing clients as we offer a comprehensive service from a single location. Almost all repair work, including if necessary the production of parts, can be completed at our workshop a short drive from Shrewsbury town.

Popular gun services include:

• Full strip and clean, including checking of barrel Wall thickness for safety purposes;
• Spring replacement, most commonly on older guns,
• Re-finishing of stocks for added protection and aesthetics,
• Alterations to stock dimensions on existing guns,
• Any other work required.
