Sideplated Boxlock

The Sideplated Boxlock was the first model to be introduced to the Boxall & Edmiston range. The Boxlock is a tried and tested design, based heavily on the British Anson and Deeley mechanism, but with some of the advances Boxall & Edmiston's engineers and designers, have become renowned for.

As with each side by side produced by Boxall & Edmiston it features diamond shaped extractor legs, removing the need for the guide pin, a notoriously weak spot on many side by sides. This advance is thanks to the use of Electro Discharge Machines (EDM) allowing modern engineers to create square holes.
