Special Edition Gun in the Field Magazine

A very special edition of the Boxall and Edmiston 12 bore sideplated over and under has been reviewed and featured in the Field magazine. The gun was produced especially for the article and features Charles Darwin and the Iron Bridge.

The idea behind the gun was to demonstrate the capabilities of the Boxall and Edmiston engraving techniques and how there are many benefits to using a laser. The use of Charles Darwin’s image was chosen as he was born in our local town of Shrewbury and his work on the evolution of man, in an infinitesimally small way, has some resonance to our advancements in gunmaking. The Iron bridge is also attributed with being the birthplace of industry and as we continue to develop gunmaking in our industry we felt it apt.
