The barrels are one of the most important features of a gun as they are the major 'safety critical' component

Not only are the barrels the major safety critical component their quality is the main contributor to a weapons dynamics, often referred to as balance. This 'ergonomic feel' is controlled with accurate weight distribution which is achieved using the British dimensions and shape that have been perfected over the past 100 years.

A good game gun should 'have life and be very responsive in the hands'.

Everyone Boxall and Edmiston barrel is entirely manufactured in the UK. The tubes and sent with a barrel lump (breech block) made by the team in Shropshire to one of our barrel makers, who return them several weeks later prepared for actioning.
