Stage 4 – Proofing

Once assembled the gun is sent to one of Britain's two "Proof" houses

Either of the proof houses can be chosen specifically by client, Birmingham or London, to be proved (tested) and passed as safe i.e. 'on the face' and no deformation of barrel tubes, the proof information is then stamped onto the barrel flats for future reference.

Boxall & Edmiston offer steel proofing as one of the many bespoke options, the gun will require 3" chambers and Teague chokes.
