Stage 7 - Finishing

Finally the gun is sent to the finisher which comprises of:

  • Oiling the stock and forend;
  • Cheqering the hand, forend and butt;
  • Blacking (bluing) of the barrels;
  • Regulating trigger pulls and ejection timing; and
  • Generally bringing the weapon to a crescendo of quality.

Once these stages are complete the gun is packed into its own case and ready for the client.

The entire gun is made in the UK. Only the wood comes from outside of Britain.

By re-igniting the entirely British tradition of gun making we hope to bring new craftsmen into the industry and ensure the great art of gun making remains engrained in our culture.
