The first stage is to produce a kit of parts at the Boxall and Edmiston factory in Shropshire. At this stage the parts are all the standard design. It is worth noting that the Boxall and Edmiston design has some innovations, ensuring a smoother ejection and generally improving the durability of the classic Side by Side for modern ammunition.
