The Sidelock

The Sidelock shotgun has been developed using state-of-the-art manufacturing methods whilst keeping a strong sense of tradition throughout the weapon. Following on from the success of both the standard Boxlock and sideplated version the Sidelock is the next installment in the Boxall and Edmiston range (launched July 2011).

When purchasing this weapon every elelment is bespoke to the clients specification and completely manufactured in the UK; only the Turkish Walnut stock blank comes from abroad.

Special features include exceptional draw strength, the use of high grade carbon steels, an exemplary barrel assembly, a uniquely positive ejector system, carbo-nitriding of all the moving parts, plus a degree of personalisation which includes:

• A deluxe stock blank to be chosen by the client from the Boxall & Edmiston collection of Walnut;
• A gun fitting at one of the finest shooting schools in the world;
• Bespoke stocking;
• Choice of stocking style;
• Forend release options;
• Three house style engraving patterns to choose from;
• Choice of barrel length (26-34”);
• Choice of fixed chokes;
• Trigger width/bias;
• Game scene vignettes on the Square sideplated OU;
• Rib style - ribbed or minimal rib;
